This restaurant line microwave from Amana consists of 1000watts, has a 1.2cbft interior.  Its stainless steel interior and exterior make it easy to clean and disinfect. The RCS10DSE has a 10 minute rotary dial. This dial continually turns to help prevent knob damage throughout use.  It has 4 power levels that are 20%, 50%, 70%, and 100%.  This enables cooking frozen foods without having to wait for it to thaw.  This microwave’s best feature is auto restart to 0:00, this feature is designed for front house use to give the inexperienced user ability to work with the product easily. The way this works is if the timer is set to 5 minutes to cook but the food is ready at the 4 minute mark, as the product is removed the microwave it will not restart after the door closes.  This is a great feature to have because if it were to restart it would continue to give microwave energy and the waves will affect the microwave’s magnetron.  This setting gives a longer lasting oven life. 

The pause for hold feature disengages the auto restart to 0:00 features, which permits back of the house users to cook soups, coffee, teas, and other liquids that require to be stirred during the cooking process. The pause for hold feature gives the user to open the door of the microwave, stir the product, and continues to cook as soon as the door is closed. RCS series can hold 14” platters which no other 1000watt commercial oven can hold. It has a top mount antenna system which provides even cooking results. The RCS model is the only 1000 watts commercial oven with a non-removable filter. This filter allows it to cool the internal components and extends the life of oven.
